EPG GSOD troubles

I wish to thank you for all the hard work the BH-team is putting in the fine images.

but... , I need help!

I use CrossEPG for UK (28.2) and Benelux (19.2/23.5) based programs.
Since a couple of days i'm having trouble in the form of GSOD.
I tried several things including EPGpanel, re-flashing, deleting EPG-data, ... no good has come of it.

I've include the latest crash-file.
thanks for the help

delete epg.dat and ext.epg.dat from your drive and try to download epg manually. Disable epg backup as well if you use it

2nd try ...

Thanks for the advice Darian23,

I tried and I failed, several times.

it seems that the system is chocking on the rytec epg.

downloading xmltv gets my system to slowly come to a stop. no gsod, no message.
downloading xepgdb works, but when accessing i get the same gsod

even after cleaning out the epgdata and re-flashing - again -

I currently use opentv for the UK channels and nothing for benelux .(no gsod yet)
I think this counts as a partial succes as some benelux (TV-vlaanderen) channels only give partial data.

when i have the remote for myself, i wil try again.

... am I the only one having this issue at the moment? Seems unlikely ...

we've had long conversation some time ago with a911 regarding epg settings.
You may search BH site and find it very quickly.
My settings are as follow:
storage: usb;
all the rest: enable but scheduled download is disabled (!). I use manual download from plugin menu and reloading epg data using plugin afterwards.
I only use xepgdb providers from rytec and only one for provider, nothing else.
Try to update rytec providers before downloading epg data.
Please note that if rytec server is too busy or unavailable you may get green screen, what in my opinion, should not happen.
Post your box configuration as well - I mean - swap file if any, mounted devices, how many plugins do you have already installed.
Most of the time green screen will appear in result of limited knowledge about the image, incompatible plugins already downloaded or incorrect configuration.
