EPG new B/h not working

Im using newest version of b/h on duo which seems rock solid.
Thing is i cant get any epg to work ive tryed the lot.
Am i missing somthing?

Uhm ... On my Ultimo I've the 1.7.1 but the EPG part is not changed between two versions....

I've setted up the download via OpenTV protocol the Sky Italia EPG (last provider i nthe list of BH EPG).
I save it in flash (I use Ultimo ). Refresh every day @ 5.00 AM.

do you not bother with usb ? didnt think the flash could manage it???
what uk do you use the open tv one and blue button then red for sky italia?

With other Vu+ boxes I've used an USB pendrive to store picons and EPG and no problems found.
Yes. Push Blue Button -> Red Button. I've used the last provider in the list.

OK Steve,
You have a USB, start with formatting it using the mount manager.
Then use crossepg to set the file path to the USB after the format and a reboot.
Then update the rytec providers via menu > setup > crossepg
reboot to be sure
Next select XMLTV and select the providers you want. ( keep it simple with one provider )
next select download and lets see what happens.

i found that if you try to download it the mornings it nearly always fails to connect to rytec providers but i have it set for download at 20:00 and working perfect now with latest image 1.7.2
