EPG update

I have somehow setup the EPG to update at a certain time period (11:00 pm).
I cannot remember how and I find it irritating now since it stops the channel I am watching and starts updating to a service channel.

Can you help me to disable it back?
What's the meaning of the process. Isn't it updated automatically anyway?

Inside EPG panel why don't you setup a different time (04:00 am, for example) to download epg data?
Probably you use CrossEpg and you can setup it into the panel of this plugin.
