F8000 and solo 2

I have a Solo 2 and I am thinking of buying a Samsung F8000 tv.

Does the TV work just as well with the solo 2 as it would a Sky box, ie voice activation for changing channel.

I have 46f8000 and works fine with my vu+ ultimo although I don't use the voice control and the hand gestures but the tv's smart remote controls everything on my decoder.
So u won't have any problems with the telly and your solo2.
