I've just go an Ultimo and need to change the image to blackhole. If I get a problem, can I recover with a 'Factory Restore' ? - Thanks for your help!

You can make an image backup,,,!
However nothing should go wrong, if you follow the proper procedures ,stated here at V-C board, do a Little search and read few posts,,,to make your self more familiarized with image installation.

If you have problems, you can reflash the image (with official one or another you like) or revert to image factory defaults with the option into menu you mention.
 
That's great! Many thanks to you both. Now all I have to do is find the installation instructions. There appears to be nothing in the zip I downloaded. I'll find on here. Thanks again. No doubt I will have more questions later.

You may not find a specific installation instructions, but there is a lot of info about image set up, make search ,,and am 100% U will find what you looking for,,,:yes:!
 
Well, I'm completely lost. I have no idea where to go from here. I simply cannot find a step by step guide to installing BH. Looks like I will have to give up. I cannot even find a backup item in the VU+ menu. Nor any instructions. The manual is worse than useless.

Everyone seems to expect a newbie to just know what to do. Unfortunately I've lost my crystal ball. What beats me is that VU+ does not provide any downloadable manuals either.

All very disappointing. Hopefully some kind soul will help me out though.
