FF speed on recordings

Hi running open BH on Solo2. When on fast forward on recordings I cannot seem to go above 8x. Anything over that and screen just seems to freeze, although it is still forwarding.

I don't think it is specific to BH I have seen the same problem quoted on Vix forum. But at one time it used to go up to 128x so is it something to do with basic software. Not a major problem but wondered if it would be likely to be solved.
