Vu+ Newbie
Hello VuPlus Community members :)

I would like to use my Vu+ Duo2 to analyse the satellite flux I receive with my dish. My goal is to save in a file a list of the different signals (channels but also radio and data if there are some) and their characteristics.
If there might be an existing plug-in doing just that, it would be perfect. :D

Also if it doesn't exist, I have some programmation skill but I'm not sure to manage it by myself. Then if somebody can help me it would be good.

Not only, I would like a list of characteristics for all flux received. My aim is to make an exhaustive list of all flux contain in the signal receive by my dish.
 
I now understand what you mean for "flux" ... the stream.;)

AFAIK full channel stream parameters aren't available, only the stream encoding (in some skin) but it's generally only shown on screen "on-the-fly", not saved anywhere.
However you could find all these information on the Internet.
 
Sorry I meant stream, got lost in translation. :confused:

As of these information not being saved anywhere, doing it is exactly what I want to do. If I manage to do it, I will then make an analysis of the list. This is why I would like to get the metadata of all the different streams (whatever the nature of the stream).

I kind of try to answer the following question: “What do satellites send us?”
 
Full detailed stream data aren't usually accessible from an Enigma2 receiver to the normal user: only a few information are shown on the screen by the installed skin.
But maybe you could learn how to program and create a plugin that do the job.

However all these information are already available on the Internet and updated in almost real time.
