FTP access behaviour changed after update to 4.1.012

As in the subject, after having updated to .012, i get this message by Filezilla
500 OOPS: vsftpd: not found: directory given in 'secure_chroot_dir':/var/run/vsftpd/empty
in FTP mode with the encryption option "Use explicit FTP over TLS if available".
To have access I had to change the encryption method to "Only use plain FTP (insecure)", and this is the first time I need this.
Is this new behaviour wanted or is it unwanted?

Same here, but I can't connect even with "Only use plain FTP (insecure)" option. Always the same message appears:

Hope this can be fixed soon, with a second update.

Warning

Unfortunately ,there is something wrong with this update
and I have the same problem.
We hope the coders will react quickly.
Until then you do not update if you have not already done so.

Yes, I confirm. It's strange because an update already means a reboot and that's why I hadn't tried it. But here it seems we need two reboots in all. ;)
Anyway, now it works with any encryption method.
