FTP - No Access

Hi,

Great Box / Great image - big step up from the old spiderbox!!!!!!

I have accessed my VU+duo box several times via ftp, but every now and again it won't let me.

I have resolved this by re-installing the image - not ideal.

I can still access the box via the Open Webif browser page.

Any suggestions of any settings that could have changed or can be changed?

Which image/version are you using?
Which is the ftp problem: ftp non accessible or wrong password?

Hi - using the latest image - 2.1.6.1

Im not sure - I get the Authentication Required box - enter root, leave password blank, and it just loops back to the Authentication Required box

there is no password, i have tried several combinations

Filezilla may be also configured to use FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)...;)
 
Hi,

I had to revert to my previous solution, and re-installed the image and the add ons - all seems to be working now.

Would be good to hear if anyone else gets this problem.
