Hi,
I used DCC in the past to FTP to my VU+Solo2, I recently changed the modem, I'm still able to connect but I can't see the directory/files of the box. The status shows as connected but its not showing anything from the box

Try with FileZilla first

have you changed your firewall settings too? Try to disable your firewall and try again.
It helped me out loooong time ago

I haven't changed anything on my laptop, only thing I changed is - new internet provider with the new modem...

Look at the info on the bottom of your screen shot - 'ftp not ready'. What's the brand of your new router? Has it got internal firewall? Have you tried to disable your firewall?
As I've written above - I had same problem long time ago and the reason was my firewall. And I guess your problem is exactly the same.

Router brand is Technocolor. The weird part is that DCC works fine on my other laptop but not on the one where I want it to work. I disabled the firewall on my laptop and that didn't help either..

Also turned off the firewall on the router and that didn't help.

I think you've answered yourself - something is blocking communication between your laptop and box because 2nd laptop working fine. Not sure what it could be - security software, windows firewall? What firewall did you actually disable on your PC - Windows one? Do you have any additional security software installed on your PC? Do you use same OS on both laptops?
I can't think about anything else as I don't have access to your devices.

I use AVG antivirus, I disabled that, I disabled the windows firewall, there isn't any other security software I use, don't worry, I guess I'll have to use Firezilla :( - thanks again though.
