Full Back ups at Boot query

Hi, Ive been having a few issues recently where my vu+ zero crashes then gets stuck in a green screen boot loop, the problem of which i'm still trying to get to the bottom of (ill be adding another thread about that shortly)

However my query is, is there anyway of taking a backup image of my completed setup and then loading that via usb at boot rather than just flashing a completely fresh blackhole image and then reconfiguring it all to how I want it again?

If the STB crash´s probably you have installed any plugin or skin not compatible with it.
In order to help you, you can take a look to your /media/hdd root folder, if you have any HDD connected to your STB, or look into your STB /home/root for the crashlog, zip it and upload it here to help you.

Hi, Ive reflashed my box so if it crashes again ill be sure to check these directories for crashlog. In the meantime is there a way of backing up the system and then doing a full boot from that back up?

If all working as expected ... upgrade your stb with the lastest updates.

You can do it by pressing your RCU ( Remote control unity ) ... <green>; <yellow>; <online blackhole image update> <ok>;

update it and reboot;

To make a full backup ...

<menu>; <backup menu>; <full backup>; choose for HDD or USB ... location backup.
