going from BH 1.6.5 to BH 1.7

hi guys,

I already have a DUO box which I have setup (took me ages!) with BH 1.6.5.

Last week I bought another new DUO box with BH 1.7 preinstalled on it. I wish to copy all my settings, crons, cams and channel settings to the new box. I have tried to backup the settings from my existing box 1.6.5 and then put the usb key into the BH 1.7, however it says that the backup settings cannot restore from this older version?

Am i missing something?

Take it back to the shop , the Original Vu+ comes with Original Vu+ images,,,,as far as I know!

Unless it`s a secondhand box you bought i totally agree with @a911 and yes you missed something.

You can not restore back up from old kernel version of image on image with new kernel. It is first.
Second, strange is why Your box come to You with BH preinstalled ! Contact Your seller, because it is not common situation.
