Hardware video acceleration with Kodi ?

Hi,
Great to learn that Kodi is now available for E2 boxes but I have one question : does it have hardware video acceleration ? (I mean the equivalent of DXVA, vdpau, va-api, so we can watch smoothly)

Kodi/XBMC into E2 boxes have hardware accelerated video via OpenGLES feature.

Thank you for your answer But aren't you talking about the rendering ? (or is video decoding is also via OpenGLES ?)

Almost Does the standard mediaplayer have hardware video decoding ?

I would hope so, otherwise there would be no cpu available for th gui.
