HDD problem

Hi all,
I have Vu Uno with BH 2.0.1 installed.
I'm trying to install an OCZ 60GB SSD on but I'm facing problems which occur when I’m trying to mount the disk.
I put the disk in and through USB Format Wizard I format it on ext2 and also in ext3 (second attempt). After the restart, when I try to mount the disk through Devices Manager, the disk is disappearing!!!
I also format it through live Ubuntu CD to ext2 (and also ext3) and put it in. When I restart the box, the disk is present but again when I try to mount it, doesn’t do it.
Any ideas?

m8 im a complete noob so I may be wrong, but after installing a hdd just now it wasn't showing neither in the usb format wizard nor in the mount menu.
what I did to get it to show in the mount menu is the following:
menu>setup>system>hard drive>initialization and then a restart
after the restart the hdd appeared in the mount menu and everything worked fine after that.

I did not format the hdd at all (unless that's what the initialization does) so it might be still in factory format (probably fat)

m8 I tried also the way you said but with no luck. After the restart the disk is not present in the mount menu. Because I can see it in FTP and also Meoboot, for now I leave it as it is. But it's strange not to appear in the mount menu!!
