hdd sleep problem (and overheat)

hello i noticed just now that the hdd doesn't goes to the sleep mode (the osd report that is already in a sleep mede but is not so) and it is a "bit" overheated..................................

the epg is on usb, no permanent timeshit enabled and i'm running the 1.7.4 rel
thx in advance for any tips about it
 
Its normal to have the HD Temp up to 40 degree , some times more, just turn on the Fan from the System\Fan control and its good to have good ventilation for the STB!

Very strange.
I've 2 HDDs connected to my Ultimo (one internal and one over eSATA) and both going into standby correctly...
