hi, i have internal samsung hdd.
default settings are that after 10 min hdd goes in stand by. but it goes even erlier, after 5 min. don't know why.
but main issue is that hdd temp is very high, the same value is when it's running and when it's in stand by. it's around 46-48 C. is this normal??

when hdd is running or in standby i can hear some little noise, i don't know if that's fan or hdd.
sorry, but i don't know much about this stuff.

box is solo2

thanks in advance!

Try good setup your fancontrole and test difrent setup.
Good way is no have box in closed place beter is place where is good air and no shine sun on box.

what is optimal pwm value in fan?
default value is 10. i put it on 80 and temp got down to 41-42 C in few minutes. now i have it on 50 and temp is stabile arround 43-45 C.
but i don't know if this pwm value is maybe to high for proper work of fan and box.
in standby fan is off.

You mast try difrent setup and find best for you.
I think is no uniwersla best setup becouse difrent people have difren house and difrent temp in home.
I think is possible setup in fancontrol setup work in standby .

I put pwm 20 when box is on and fan off in standby.
In very hot days i put fan on in standy.
Temp is 41-42C. I think it's fine.
