Hello, every newer 4K receivers have HDMI input connector, not only out. Main usage would be feeding an external video source to HDMI out. Is it possible to record this incoming stream in the internal hard drive? I don't speak about HDCP, obviously my question is related only to "free" streams. My goal is to connect a video source to HDMI in and record it in my new Vu+ drive. Latest BH image. Any news please? Thanks.
 
i havent got blackhole installed at the moment, but you can record from hdmi in, providing you bypass the hdcp with an adapter on VTi image or official image. however at the moment its only recording picture no audio and only max res of 720p, its meant to be a driver issue to why there is no sound.
