I am in the UK and have my first vu+ duo2 arriving tomorrow (latest BH image) as I hopefully start my move away from sky. I will be running this in parallel with a standard sky+ box from the standard dish (quad lnb) in attempt to gain the WAF from she who must be obeyed. I have been in the IT industry for many years and do a bit of work on Linux/Uniux boxes so hopefully that will help me. I also run a HTPC with xbmc alongside the sky box so eventually I was hoping this new box might well be able to replace both of these.
I am reading as much as I can on this to catch up but I am sure to ask some dumb questions at some point so be nice please.
