Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Box crashed can't send crashlog as I cannot access box through filezilla as I get this message:-


Status: Connecting to 192.168.0.112:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 500 OOPS: vsftpd: not found: directory given in 'secure_chroot_dir':/var/share/empty
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server



Can anybody help?

Try installing a fresh image?

It is always a good idea to post what receiver Model has the problem, and what image it has on it.

Verify the ip of the box if it is connected to a router or similar device.

Anything connected to the receiver such as hard drives or usb devices? If yes, then disconnect everything from the receiver including internet cable and reboot the box.

Only other possible option I know would be to connect to the receiver's RS232 port and capture the information from the receiver. You would need Putty or a similar program and a RS232 null cable to do this.
