What am I doing wrong!
Just recently changes from Dreambox to VU+duo.
Has satellite pointed at Thor on Dreambox, worked ok?
When I connected and setup VU+duo I tried to scan Thor, Nothing was found.
I’ve been trying this for over 4hrs still nothing.
So I tried Tuner B pointed at sly with sly dish attached, only a dozen channels are found. It seems am missing something on my system WHAT?
Can anyone help, seems sat systems come a long way since Dreambox.
Could do with a stupid idiots manual, me thinks.

I think you should check your tuners configuration, maybe there is something wrong into your setup.
 
Have you updated the satellite.xml ?
If no download catseye settings from the addons server and start from there.

I have downloaded that xml update and sly seems to work using fixed dish. but still having problem with motorized dish.
which word OK with dreambox. ???
 
The dish was set up OK and when i use it on my Dreambox 7000 S it would pick up channels on satellite OK. But then all satellite positions were set into receiver. When i checked dish set up and found LNB had an crack in it, dish was looking a bit worse for wear. So i've decided to get new LNB, dish and Diseqc H-H motor. So when this is set up all will be OK. will keep you informed.
