Hevc 265 stream on old vu+ tuners like zero and solo2

twin

Vu+ Newbie
I know that 4k channels are not possible but there are other possibilities.
Hevc 265 is also available in other formats and can run with very low kb/s and a very good picture. Channels can be transcoded to only 2000 kb/s.
Have tested on a vuzero and a vu solo2 and only get sound and no picture.
Must be possible to install codex, lib, etc to get a picture.
Someone who has solved this, hevc 265 is the future......

H265 (or HEVC) is avaiable only with 4K models.
Older box cannot recognize it.

Okay.
Probably different with dreambox. Dm520/525 works fine with hevc 265 and is no 4K box,
but it does support this.
This is inpossible.
I think you hear only sound no picture if is in H265
Or stream is sended in H264 .

Have iptv/stream in H265 in 4k is very hard have becouse i think mast be have upload around 30-40mb.

You don't believe me, hadn't said this unless it was true.
Hope to get this to go on old vu+ as long as it works on my dreambox 520 and this is no 4K box but has support for hevc 265.
Attached file you can test yourself in vlc then you see that this is hevc 265, or you can play it from hdd on a 4k or dm520hd
the file is timer recording from my dm520, from own private stream source.
hevc 265 stream is here transcoded, 2-3mb

Probably in DM boxes who don't support in hardware the H265 codec, is processed by software ...
I'll investigate.
