Hi, I'm a total newbie

Vu+ Newbie
Hi guys and gals, I'm new to this whole VU thing. I'm quite a technical person, so I know I'll enjoy setting up my box that will be coming soon. I've decided to go for the VU+ Solo2. (if anyone thinks there's a better machine for the same price, please let me know)

I have no clue on how these machines work and I had no clue such machines exist until quite recently, hence, I'll be asking quite a few questions. (please bare with me)
I've been a user of Humax and technomate.

Thank you.
