Hi just introducting myself.

Just purchases Vu+Duo with came with Experimental Images on it.

I'm totally clueless at the moment and here to learn and get started on using it.

I've managed to get as far as installing the hard drive and finding list of channels, however, not actually been sucessful in seeing anything yet.

My goal is to get viewing all the free to view channels. Then later possibly add some subsriction services.

Looking at how to get started. Do i need to flash this new device, new image. Where do i start?

Anway going to have a look around the forums for getting started, if anyone wants to point me in the right direction please let me know.

1) Download latest bh firmware from here

2) Flash your box with the new firmware following this howto

At reboot configure your tuners following the wizard and do an automatic scan.
If you want to use precompiled channels lists push green -> yellow -> Addons Download Manager -> Black Hole settings
If you want to manage your channel list using your pc search dreamboxedit in google and install it

To map your hdd push to blue -> blue -> -> devices manager.
 
Hi, trying to learn my way around the new Black hole 2.0.2 OS. I am completly new to all of this and my goal is to get an EPG and channel list similar to either a freeview UK box or Sky Free view channels. Currently when i go into channels there are hundeds showing but when i click to view any of them they are blank. Through a lot of searching i can find some UK channels I can view. If i click on the favorites it is currently only showing a list of what appears to be German channels which i cannot view. When i use the EPG btton again all i get is a list of channels with Now/Next/More buttons at the top of the page.

Can someone point me in the correct direction on how i can download a specific UK channel list of channels, EPG so i can see what is on 7 days infront? Is this possible?
