Hi!

Vu+ Newbie
I'm a boy from old school, familiar with Unix/linux, but now I'm a newbie again, having a plan to build my first linux digibox system with 4 TB NAS connected to two digoboxes without internal storage at all. My plan is to use Vu+ Duo2 HD PVR with two DVB-C tuners as main device and other device will be next coming new device that has no name yet, but shoud be as fast as Duo2, but have only one tuner.

I am in cable network, as you can guess.

My Vu+ Duo2 has now been set up as with NAS about a month and works perfectly. Configuration work with standard OpenVix-image was easy enough.

I have also received new Solo SE -device. This is a little device with one tuner, has fast processor, but no hard drive at all. My plan was to connect to NAS. Unfortunately this device has now only experimental image. I cant record anything, because I cant configure this experimental image's settings so that recording goes to NAS. It seems that recordings are possible with experimental image only to external hard disk and it plays recordings only from that external hard disk. Even this device does not record to NAS, there is a workaround to play recordings made by othwer device from NAS using its multimedia player. This works, but is not very convinient. Solo SE can show TV channels normally. Byt because there is no VIX-image, I cant say that this device is ready.

Can anyone say, when OpenVIX release for Solo SE will be released?
