Hi,
Can anyone explain why?...after I put the unit in standby before retiring at night..when I wake up the RAM is 97% used...I do a restart and the RAM is back at used 17%.
Do I need to shutdown each night to rectify this.(Not always suitable as I time recordings during this period)

Been running 4 hrs today RAM up to 97% from 16% at eight oclock...how many times a day do I have to restart...tia
 
The Duo2 should restart even from deep standby if a recording has been scheduled.

Regarding your RAM filling, it's hard to say without knowing all the options, plugins, addons, etc. running on your box.
You should find which modules have been loaded into memory.

I have just the basic plug ins which loaded with the 214 image...and I have disabled all the items in Blackhole Speed up....ram 87% after 10 minutes.
Do I need a swap file on USB then?
 
This is the Linux real figure.
If at the same time you find different values shown somewhere else, there might be a problem in that screen.
