How can I categorise recordings?

I have lots of recordings in the movie folder.
So many that it makes it hard to find any in particular.

I created folders to categorise them and make it easy to watch a series.
I copied lots of the recordings into these folders.
But the folders don't appear when I press movies on the remote control.

Is there any way to make these folders appear?
 
You can also try to install enhancedmoviecenter or mediaplayerextended. You can find in addons manager.

I have the same problem, I would like to be able to make sub folders ie, SPORTS, MOVIES, etc
I have been hoping that in future updates this will be possible.

Black Hole is great image, but this would be a great extra for v1.7.3

You don't need a new image to do it.

Moreover, you can also use the tags to sort your recordings without create new folders.
