How can I watch movies with its subtitle from external harddisk ?

How can I watch movies from external harddisk with subtitle?

I put the movie with its subtitle in one folder in external HDD with the same name, but the subtitle not appear

Is there a certain plugins to watch movies with its subtitles from external HDD?

Play movie, press Audio button and switch between audio tracks and subtitles tracks (I don't remember which button / item you should switch but I know they works - almost srt subs works :) )

There is nothing to appear when I do like what you have mentioned to me

What skin or image U are using,,,:confused:!

Anyway,,,,it looks that the image system can not reads the Sub-title fonts!
May be U need to use sub-title plugin,,,that can read from the movie ,,,,I do not have one for vu+,,,,,!

the Audio>yellow , may only work if the provider of transporter is sending Sub-Title!

I have VU+ Duo with VTi image

If there is any plugin to read all types of subtitles like ( .idx, .sub, .xml, .srt, etc. ), Please help me with this plugin

Yes now after convert srt file to UTF-8 , it is work

But I have 3D movies, that is why I am asking about another type of subtitle like ( .idx, .sub, .xml ) because srt not work with 3D SBS (side-by-side) movies

If there is any way to make srt work with 3D SBS movies, Please help me with this program

Yes there is and option for 3D but you can not use media player fore playeing files you must use R button (ftp movies to movie folder in hdd or use media center plugin for reading files).
Media player you can not use because you can not start plugin on it.
Read carefully this topic and use latest version of plugin.

Ok, now I have install these plugins
1- Subtitle player v3.09
2- FTP browser

While I did not find media center plugin (If you owned, please put it here)

As you said, I can not use Subtitle Player because I can not start plugin while media player is running

Now
What do you mean by the R button ?
I do not know how to configure the settings of FTP browser Plugin!

Note:
I have try VLC video player plugin, But I can not use Subtitle Player because I can not start plugin while movie is running

Now as you said, there is only one way to run Subtitle Player Plugin while movie is running. This way by using FTP to run the movie and then I can use Subtitle Player Plugin to show subtitle.
 
dear friend, do not use media player.
you should copy your movie into HDD. then use R button to find the movie. then press OK to play it.
then goto menu, plugin, subtitle player

if you have your subtitle file you must copy it into etc/ddsubt
if you do not have your subtitle file, then press teletext button, search movie name, press ok twice, then go back to main menu , press green button to download subtile anf then you can see subtitle.
if subtitle is stopped you can press right button in your remote control to start your subtitle
please do not hesitate to ask questions
 
Media center you also have on BH addons panel.
Here is a little how to:

1. Start a media center

4. Then you have 2 options to start subtitle plugin
- Menu-->Addons and start a plugin

or just long press blue button and start a plugin

Wonderful
In this way I have been able run the Subtitle through the subtitle Player.

But there is bad news
When I run the Subtitle Player Plugin, I can not control the movie (pause or rewind the movie). Because all the remote buttons work with the Subtitle Player Plugin.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Sorry, I do not have BH image.

I had searched a lot about Media Center Plugin and I did not found it.

(I think it's so wonderful as the pictures that you put it)

Please can you give me the Plugin of Media Center ?

Google...."Media Center Plugin Enigma 2"

You may have skin problem,,,when U install it,,,,so be careful,,,,or just install BH to avoid compatibly issue!
