How do i manual uninstall software

I have installed CoolTV v6 using the STB menus.
This replaced CoolTV v5.
however, now the STB doesnt work properly.
If i telnet (PuTTy) into the STB then what are the commands I need to use to remove CoolTV

You should be able to use the uninstall panel if you downloaded from the addons server.

the screens are messed up. I cannot access the AddOns screen. that is why i need to Telnet/PuTTy into the box and run command(s) from the linux shell.
