Hello!
I'm new to VU+ DUO2 and so far I'm not that thrilled. I think my Vantage 8000 HD is much simpler to handle but maybe I'll get used to my new receiver too.
My problem is when I search for certain channels the real name of the channel does not appear in the channel list. Instead I see the frequency and a lot of numbers. For example when loading the RAI channels located on Hotbird an 10 992V I can't see RAI1, RAI2 and so on in the channel list. I just see "10 99V" and a lot of numbers. When I searched another RAI transponder 11 766V this problem didn´t occur. Can anyone tell a total newbie how to solve this?
Sorry for a simple (but for me diffucult) question.
I should also say - I'm really sorryif posting this in the wrong section.
Oh I really didn't know that. I have never had this problem with RAI before. However my question remains. Is it possible to edit a channel name? On my Vantage this is a really simple task to perform.
The DreamEdit is a powerful and easy to use utility which can edit the channel information and parameter.
1. Download the utility software (everywhere in the internet) and install it to your pc.
2. Set the your receiver's IP as required in the configure interface of Dreamedit.
3. download your channel list from your receiver and edit it, upload the edited list back.
just as simple as it. It is very easy to do the edit from you pc's keyboard.
