How to customise remote control?

HI,

I just synced the Harmony 300 with my vu+solo2. It works exactly like the original remote that came with the box.

However, I would like to further customise the remote as there's so many more buttons than the original. Maybe have some favourite channel keys, youtube button, media player button etc

Is that possible without coding? Can anyone tell me how to begin? Am I missing a blackhole plugin etc?

Logitech has already listed all the possible available IR commands that you can assign to the Harmony remote buttons.
You can choose from that list, but no further IR commands can be provided/added to the existent codes by whatever plugin.

Button remapping: it's not what you're asking, but just to let you know, using the Multi QuickButton plugin you can assign to the Vu+ remote buttons (and then to the universal remote buttons too) some functions different from those originally assigned by Vu+.
 
Thanks for the info. I'll try the Multi quick button and let you know how I got on. As for Fast Plugin, it's great for one shortcut key to a plugin but not sure how to set up various keys. From what I gather, I can only use "press green button twice" to assign a plug in. I must be doing it wrong as it doesn't give me options for other combinations.
 
For those interested:

The Harmony software has 4 favourite channels which is great. I've set it up as a channel from Sports/News/Regional/Kids and then just use the left and right arrows to scroll through that bouquet after selecting the favourite. I've used the Fast Plugin to set it up for youtube (press green button twice).
