How to set and managing Hard Disk

I have installed a hard disk drive into my Duo2 (BH 2.0.5 VB).

Question 1.
I initialed the HD, how do I checked what type of the hard disk has been formated? Or How to format the HD to certain type?

Question 2.

I installed an internal HD, but BH always reports I have an external HD. Why? Did I do any thing wrong?

Question 3.

Do we have a BH user manual some where I can download?

Question 4.

How can I manage the recorded files in the hard disk? For example, make new a forlder or directory, move media files between these directories?

1) If you have initiated the HDD with BH image it's formatted correctly in Linux format
2) No matter how report the box. It's the same
3) No. You can check the HowTo and Newbie section to gain help or to open thread in the Board if you need specific help

thanks Angelofsky1980, I used the BH2.0.5 initiated the HD, Now I think I can set to use the HD .
 
Its basically a piece of software which can be used to ftp to your box plugins or extra media etc. It can also be used to telnet commands to the box etc. To use it first install then open the application and all is pretty straight forward. Insert IP address of your box and router if over your home network.

I do suggest like angelofsky1980 said please read through the vast amount of information in the how to sections as they are a great start. If you get stuck on anything post or read problems in newbie question area. Its a great forum if you need help. I'd read forum rules carefully too because many people have holidays away from site due to posting things which break the rules.
