How to set up dynamic ip on vu+ duo

hi,

I'm trying to connect to my vu+ duo box from the vu+ app on my phone when outside of home and it says about setting up dynamic ip address.

How do i go about doing this?

Any help is appreciated.

First of all you should use a Dynamic DNS Service to bind your ISP dynamic IP to a common name.
Second thing it's to setup your box with a static IP into your LAN (static IP or DHCP reservation)
Last thing you should forward some ports (80, 8001 and 8002 TCP) from your router to your box.

Very last thing: enable authentication into OpenWebif plugin to avoid some not authorized usage of your box
