How to setup solo2 as NAS server

Hi all
I was looking here around for a walktrough to setup my solo2 as NAS server.
I installed a HDD 1Tb And I think the NAS server is on.
When I try to connect to a nas server with my android tv dongle using xbmc I can see the vusolo and it offers the /media/hdd folder.
I'm not able to access subfolders. Is it normal?
