how to stop a timer recording ?

Is there any way to stop a timer recording without deleting the timer?

I noticed that when I set a timer recording and started to record, there is no option to stop the recording, so I have to go to the timer and delete it, which means you have to set another, specially if you want repeated recordings.

You have to go in timer and remove it (red botton) to stop recording.
 
I know about that, and it means that if I have a daily timer, I need to setup a new one whenever I want to stop the recording before the end of the recorded event, which is stupid.

I guess that firmwares and features are nearly the same as in Dreambox, where daily 0r weekly timers can be canceled (red key) or just suspended for the current day (yellow key), leaving the re-start option for the next days. This is an important feature, which I am also looking forward to in view of purchasing VU, so can you please check if it is available in the timer window?

You can disable/ suspend recording for daily and repeated timers (you have 3. options)
yellow button in the timer Editor,
or delete/cancel red button.
