how to upgrade vu+uno?

I had a vu+ solo .. I just acquire vu+uno. Shall i upgrade vu+uno with the same method of vu+solo?(i want to use bhole 1.7.2).excuse me for my bad english.
 
To update your Uno you must:
1) save the bh 1.7.2 image in a fat32 formatted stick in a structure like this: vuplus/uno
2) insert the stick in the front usb and power on the decoder
3) when requested press the CH- button

all steps of install images are good .But when receiver reboot i can't change anything in first screen: language,video....my receiver not communicating with remote.
 
Try and flash original image first.

When you have flashed this image carry out FPGA upgrade just to be sure.
 
Fpga upgrade?!!I've flashed Vu+ uno as I've flashed Vu+solo.first screen after reboot:VIDEO WIZARD.I try to change language the remote not communicating with receiver. Be patient with me please.
 
I have resolved problem:I used bhole images :Dark screen. I then used another image(I don't want to call it).Screen:VIDEO WIZARD.But remote not communating with receiver.In my pc i p receiver...dreambox control...Box control webremote ....Iaccess my Vu+ uno....Menu...plugins...remote control setup....I changed value 2 to 1 .SURPRISE:the remote communicates with receiver.MY VU+UNO DOESN' T ACCEPT ALL IMAGES BHOLE!!!!!I'll come back to my vu+solo with bhole 1.7.2..I thank everyone who answered my call.

REMOTE Mode 1 is for VU DUO/SOLO and not for VU UNO

but you did not make FPGA update.
And then the image is not working.
But if you have make FPGA update and only problem with remote in new BH image
your remote code is not OK .

you changed the remote code from UNO to DUO.

If you have universal remote

You can change the system code of your Vu+ universal remote according to the Vu+ model that you want to control.

Mode1: Duo/Solo
Mode2: Uno
Mode3&4: For future usages

Press <<2+7>>, <Help>, <0001 or 0002 or 0003 or 0004>

1. Press 2 and 7 for three seconds until LED is on.
2. Press Help
3. Press 0001 for mode 1, 0002 for mode 2.

If you have a VU Uno remote
then it have to be a universal remote.
VU duo/solo remote is not universal remote but you can use with VUUno
code 1 in Remote Control System code plugin.
VUuno remote standard is code 2 / Mode 2 but you can change if you like and you have this remote.
So with VU Uno universal remote you can control VUuno and Duo/solo
and two VUuno receivers in the same room.
 
Thank you very much MATRIX 10 for your help.Your method is excellent. Now I use bhole 1.7.2 in my vu+uno without problem. You don't know how I love this image .
