Impossibile to login from outside (OBH on Vu+ duo original)

duetto

Vu+ Newbie
Hi,
After the "stuck on starting" problem on my old vu+ duo I tried to flash the OBH Image.
All seems to work now, except the login from internet because of password request.

I didn't change the default settings, the box is accessible from the lab, but not from outside the lan.
The connection is ok, it prompts for the login and password, but doesn't accept the default.

I thought it was the default empty pw and tried to assign one, but it has been impossible to do. I try to insert but the box refuses to save (couldn't find the " save" button and the OK doesn't save).

Where am I wrong? Any suggestion?

Thanks

You have to set up your receiver, for logging in from outside your secured network.
Personally I haven't tried it, but have spotted a few things, in the Open Black Hole menu, that might require setting up.
There is also a new Open Black Hole 4.2 released, so you might want to load that first.

Yes, there is a setting for logging from outside and I set it on yes.
There is a setting to choose between http and https, and I tried both.

I'll try the telnet way to set the PW and retest.
Then I'll try the update.

I'd really want to connect from outside, e.g. for a new timer etc
