If you have Zap Statistics on a plugin it records every channel you switch to. If like me you flash and then reload a backup of settings, if you don't delete the list off Zap it builds up to a point were it affects and bogs down the speed of the start up and shut down. I suppose with the 1.7.9 image you can now stop it loading that particular plugin if you wanted to. After deleting the stats I was really supprised at how quick the box shuts down.
