Request Install and Uninstall extensions.

On my Vu+ Duo I have installed BH image 2.0.5 and upgraded to 2.0.5 rev B. On the initial instal there were many extensions included. I am not talking about the addons under the BH Speed Up function. I have been trying to uninstall many of the included extensions without success. I have tried re-installing them and then uninstalling them via GREEN/YELLOW/Uninstall. Sometimes the Uninstall function reports success, but the extension is still there. Sometimes the extension does not appear in the list. I have also tried via the Yellow (process) method in the extension management menu. I have not yet tried to manually uninstall the packages as I believe I could corrupt my system.

Here is a list of extensions I cannot get rid of in the normal way:

I did not download these, so they must have come from the original BH 2.0.5 image.

REQUEST 1: I would like a “clean” image without any additional extensions included. This will mean that I decide what extensions I want. Alternatively, include ALL addons into the BH Speed Up function, not included as part of the image.
REQUEST 2: I would like only ONE option in the BH menus where I can install an extension from, rather than from multiple places as now.
REQUEST 3: I would like a clear definition of the differences between Addons plugins, Feeds plugins, Extensions, Local extensions, Extension Management, Software management. Can we not use one term for all these?
REQUEST 4: I would like that ALL installed extensions, of any type, appear under the Addons Uninstall panel. The Green/Yellow/Addons Uninstall panel and the Uninstall option in Extension management seem to be a good idea, but these two functions are not the same. Not all installed extensions appear in the Addons uninstall panel.
REQUEST 5: I would like a “Success/ failed” message with a short explanation of the result of an install request.
Example: Doing: Extension management/StartupToStandby/Green (Install)/Red(back)/Yellow(Process)/”Installing enigma2-plugin-extension-Startuptostandby”/Enter/ “Installing software. Done – installed ,upgraded or removed 0 packages with 0 errors”
“There are currently no outstanding problems”
Result: nothing was installed and no reason was given, as the “Done” message says. But why? What do I do now? Logically there are ZERO errors with ZERO installs! which is meaningless and does not help me solve my problem.

You are wrong. You are using a BACKUP IMAGE and NOT the official BH image downloaded from here.
For this reason I will ban you because you're using a plugin related to emu software not yet supported here.

Request 1: download BH image from THIS Board and not other places and flash it. The result is a VERY CLEAR installation of BH image. You can also during first setup screens to use BH SpeedUp to remove plugins not necessary for your installation and needs.

Request 2: there are more places because the sources of the extensions are multiple.
If you search for plugins you can take a look to Green Panel -> Addon Panel -> Plugin Feeds

Request 3: if they are different names, they are different things and cannot be merged in one.
Addon Plugins: usually plugins repacked by BH team and / or developed by BH Team
Feeds Plugins: they are plugins avaiable from web and published with BH images
Extensions: I think you are referencing to Software Manager. Should be a subset of Feeds Plugins.
Local Extensions: IPK files located to your box and/or installable from local (your box) places, usually /tmp
Extension Management: the tool that can manage IPK files installed on your box
Software Management: like the above but includes also system wide packages

Request 4: it's quite impossible because every devleoper don't care about various third-party team images.

Request 5: I don't know but if the box shows "0 packages installed" should be clear that has not yet installed anything. If you use "Software Manager" plugin this is the problem and I suggest to use Feeds Plugin panel to install additional plugins.
