IP Cam via Channel Number

Vu+ Newbie
Hi,

I have a Vu+ Solo box with Black Hole image v1.7.9.

I also have an IP security camera on my front door and I’d like to view my security camera via a channel number, is this possible?

Example: channel 999 views my IP camera

Thank you

Hi,

I would also like to know if it is possible to set an ip camera or a nvr software (like BlueIris with multiple camera view) to a channel or quick button.
Someone must have done this, I'm sure =)

Of course you have to know exactly which are the commands (URL) needed to start the video stream from the IP camera.
Those commands sometimes can be fairly complicated, needing a lot of parameters embedded in the string, such as username and password (even encrypted), and perhaps more than one command might be required in order to initially select the video stream type (i.e. JPEG, M-JPEG, H264, server push, etc.).
