Which image is better for IPTV streams ? Blackhole or Open Blackhole ?
Which gstreamer is running on both images ?

I also want to import an EPG for IPTV streams. Can both use the xmltvimport plugin ?

for ts streams you can use both
for m3u8 streams OBH

In principle for now OBH works better for IPTV.
 
Speaking about streams...

I had the opportunity to create my own list of *.TS, *.M3U and *.M3U8 streams on VU+, but I wonder if youtube videos and youtube live streamings can be added in bouquets like we do with *.TS and *.M3U streams. Did anyone tried?

I've added youtube videos (also youtube live streamings) as if they were *.M3U channels but Vu+ is not able to reproduce the videos (I see black screen):
