Is my Vu+ Duo dead

Hi.

Yesterday, we had some issues with our Vu+ Duo. It was running BH 2.1.7 and has been since July. It seemed to hang on channel change. We had to power off the Vu+ and that is where the trouble has started.

When I switch the Vu+ on the red indicator comes on in the top left corner of the Vu+ Display.

I have tried to reinstall BH 2.1.7 via USB but on powering up the Vu I get the red indicator and the Vu does not seem to read from the USB at all. Is there another way to recover the vu or is it now dead?
