Is there an easy method to delete dead channels?

After a long period updating and rescaning, my channel list becomes very fat. I know how to delete the unwanted channels by using DreamBoxEditor. However, do we have some methods which I can make some simple editing during I view my channels by using the RCU? the functions such as deleting channel, move selected channel to favourite list?

You can perform a manual scan on the transponder whose dead channels belonged to with the tuning option "remove before scan".

Thanks @Eragon for your kind reply. However, I have thousands of channels which I do not know which one has dead, If I try one by one transponder, it will be a very hard work. The most which I concerned is whether my favourite channel list can be kept as it is after I use the 'remove before scan' option

You can also perform an automatic scan on all the satellite transponders...
The favorites bouquet is always untouched, the problem lies in the lamedb.
