keep losing lan/wifi connection downloading file

trying to download a large file (11gb) via wifi/lan but keep losing connection with the boxi usually about halfway throughish,any suggestions please,already tried rebooting box/laptop thanks,or any other wau of getting this large file on the internal drive cheers
