keep recording hdd after upgrade

HI

Got my solo2 6months now and i want to upgrade 2.0.5 to 2.0.7.1

1. Do i lose all recording ? need to format hdd and mount on new image ?
2. any important changes between those two version ?

i got experience with dm800se boxes and there was format hdd every time after image upgrade :(

You don't have to format nothing. HDD is not touched by upgrading.
For changes look at image release comments.
 
if u have personal blackup just upload it to media usb then restore everything will be all right like be4.
