With OBH 4.3.020 Kodi 18.6 is available.

After doing an online update, you may need to remove Kodi manually (menu - plugins - red button to remove plugins - extensions then select Kodi).

After this is done you can reinstall Kodi from the feed's / SpeedUP panel and this will install Kodi 18.6

Kodi 18.6 is available for all boxes that support Kodi (Ultimo4K, Duo4K, Uno4K SE, Uno4K, Solo4K, Zero4K, Duo2, SoloSE, Solo2).

hello yesterday i installed bh in my deco zero, and i can't find the kodi app in add-ons, could you help me and tell me where i can find it and the steps to follow, thanks

What's a deco zero?
If you're referring to the older VU+ Zero this model hasn't got the power to run Kodi.
Please check on the official VU+ website, to work out which model you have:
Code:

hi my deco is vu zero hd

Hello,
With Solo2 the playing with
- E2Player is perfect as it was,
- GstPlayer video and audio ok, but the seeking bar not working properly (if you go to another position in the video, the bar remained the same time & position),
- VideoPlayer video is slowmotioned, there is no audio, but the seeking bar is perfect.
Is there any idea to solve it?
Thanks!

To extend my previous comment:
- Videoplayer: SD is ok, but from 720p the video is around 2-3 fps, the processor ussage is almost 100% at both of the cores. :(
- Unfortunatelly with gstplayer I cant select subtitles or change audio, but with video player it is ok.

Hi I have a solo 4k with OBH 4.3.027 and Kodi 18.6 but
as in the past KODI starts but still no sound.
Not with music or video add-ons or a simple mp3, so useless :(
What is the reason of this, is that also with you?

regrads
erik

That sounds more like a problem with your set up. Are you using a sound bar, or surround sound, or just a HDMI cable, connected to your television?
I've never had a problem, with KODI, regarding sound, apart from some of the streams that might only have a foreign sound track.

This would just put you back to exactly where we are now, sorry i do not see how flashing the same image again could possibly help things.

linuxsat,
asound.conf content:

pcm.!default {
type oss
device /dev/dsp
}
ctl.!default {
type oss
device /dev/mixer
}

Can somebody check the content of the asound.conf file local on your box please ?

Mick12334,
at this moment
sound solo4k : spdif to amplifier
video solo4k : hdmi to television

I will try :
sound and video solo4k : hdmi to television only
I come back with the result

No sound. I replaced the hdmi cable also .
So.....
I think my asound.zip is ok . I unpacked this zip and placed the asound.conf in /etc/

does anyone have any suggestions please?

Try using the Black Hole image, with a fresh installation.
I can't understand why you're not getting any sound, when using KODI, as you must have sound when just using your receiver.
You could try totally erasing KODI, from your hard drive, or USB storage, and starting again.
You can find guides, on how to do this, on the internet.

I moved some cables and now I have sound ;)
I have to set the sound in Kodi to 100 percent and then I can amplify.
Netflix sounds seems ok
but sound in other music/video add-ons falter I hope this is the right English
Thank you all for the suggestions
I'm happy with Netflix/Kodi not super smooth but it works

It was a faulty HDMI cable for me. But on having a closer look at the HDMI contact on my vuduo2 I found that it was to say the least, "out of shape". The rear panel is so thin (cheap) it can hardly take the weight of a cable which is moving about here and there.
