lan network issues

hi every body
i have a vu+ solose with blackhole 2.1.6, and recently it wont connect to my PC via DCC, it work one time and then fail, i have to disconnect and reconnect the crossover ethernet cable many time.
i did a network test and the result is nameserver unconfirmed, please any one know what cause the problem

You have the connection set as Direct crossover but are you using a router?

Why do you use a crossover cable instead of a straight cable?

i use crosseover cable instead of straight one because i connect my solose directly to PC .

Ok.
It's normal that you have "errors" during Network test around DNS.

You should use a standard FTP client and not DCC to avoid problems.

i used filezilla and VUCC , and have the same result, no connection

i solved the issue, i suspected windows7 that why i installed ubuntu and used filezilla and all work fine

unfortunatly the pb is back , and now both in windows7 and ubuntu
