List for abreviations

Hi. I was wondering if there was a list available for abreviations used eg. hdd means hard disk drive, ftp means file transfer protocol. It would be very useful ,saving searching for meanings. Cheers

in search field

Generally it's easy to find abbreviations meaning on wikipedia.
