Little Dolby Digital Issue

Fab_

Vu+ Newbie
Hello everyone,

since few months, more or less starting with the blackhole image 1.6.3 I've started to have a little issue with dolby digital.
I have a sony BDV-L600 home theatre system connected by USB to the vu+ duo and it is connected to the television too.
When watching channels with dolby digital audio suddenly at the beginning of the new program the audio goes mute and I have to restart by unplugging and plugging again the power supply to the sony BDV-L600 in order to get the audio again.

Sounds like something changes from the "before program" so spots, etc... and the program itself that crash my home theatre system.

Does anyone have the same issue ?

Thanks

Hi Angelo, sorry for the delay but I've run several tests.
Apparently the issue is when commercials start during a program when a channel with digital audio is selected.
Just like commercials have not a digital flux or something changes and crash my sony BDV-L600.
Downmix is disabled and AC3/DD option is enabled.

Everything works ok on MPEG (no digital audio) channels.

That happens only on S*Y IT HD channels, all the others are ok.

Ok. The procedure it's clear. I will make some tests ASAP.... but I think it's an amplifier problem because my Onkyo doesen't have the problem.
Please verify if there is a firmware upgrade for your ampli and re-make the test.
