Low antena power?

Vu+ Newbie
Hello,
Astra antena with meter shows 84dB.
When vu is plugged shows less than 45 dB and image Freeze.
Any idea?

1) Signal meter and VU+ "meter" are two totally different things. A receiver IS NOT a meter. The signal value in the receiver is just a way to compare two different transponders or to adjust the alignment of the dish or the skew of the LNB.
2) The ideas are many: the cable, a faulty switch... in general, everything between the LNB and the box.
