Making my own m3u help needed?

I want to add a link to my video library, which are stored on my server pc, and have the link in the bouquets/channel list to make things easier so, I copied over a video to my server pc, I opened it in VLC on my laptop and saved as m3u file, (Contents of file below)

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:8441,Calming Music Nature Sounds.mp4
\\Lee-pc\d\Aquarium and nature sounds\Calming Music Nature Sounds.mp4

Then copied that file to var/volatile/temp on my stb

used m2b to convert it to add to my bouquet. It shows up in the channel list, but there is nothing playing when i press it. I tried the conversion in m2b on all options, but still would not work.

if i open the m3u in laptop vlc it opens and plays fine. So i'm thinking the VU Duo2 cant find the file?
or does the channel link need to be linked to a media player on the VU to play it?
